Position Overview: As a Technical Kitchen Designer, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and execution of luxury kitchen designs. You will be responsible for ensuring that all specifications, drawings, and quotes are accurate and completed on time to meet client expectations. Your role will be essential in maintaining the high standards of quality and service that our client is known for. Key Responsibilities: ? Order Preparation: Ensure all orders are prepared accurately and on time. ? Worktop Drawings: Produce detailed worktop drawings to support accurate quoting. ? Quote Preparation: Accurately prepare quotes in a timely manner for client meetings. ? CAD Visuals: Prepare plans and CAD visuals that meet the expected level of quality. ? Design Interpretation: Interpret design briefs into successful kitchen designs that are delivered on time and within budget. ? Budget Awareness: Inform the designer of any required changes during quoting to ensure the project stays within budget. ? Proactivity: Take initiative to find solutions and answers independently. ? Error Reduction: Aim to reduce major and minor mistakes in designs and quotes. ? Leadership Support: Step up and take on additional responsibilities in the manager's absence. ? Onsite Service: Provide onsite service as required. ? Studio Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the studio’s functionality and appearance. ? Pre-Site Inspection: Conduct pre-site inspections when the manager is unavailable. ? Site Documentation: Prepare necessary documentation for site visits and installations. ? Product Sourcing: Source products required for the project, ensuring they meet design specifications. ? Special Drawings: Create special drawings for manufacturers to quote accurately. ? Boxing and Ducting Drawings: Produce detailed drawings for boxing and ducting needs. ? Bench Seating Specification: Accurately specify bench seating requirements. ? Sample Management: Ensure all samples are accurate and available for review. ? Design and Quote Accuracy: Check kitchen designs and quotes for any errors or inconsistencies. ? Project Momentum: Ensure that project momentum and activities are maintained in the studio manager’s absence. ? Adaptability: Be flexible with working patterns to ensure deadlines are met, including early or late shifts when necessary. ? Urgency and Proactivity: Understand and act with urgency, following processes and executing tasks with precision. Qualifications: ? Proven experience in design specification, preferably within the luxury kitchen or interior design industry. ? Strong proficiency in CAD software and design tools. ? Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. ? Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. ? Strong communication and teamwork skills. ? Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. ? Leadership capabilities and ability to step up when required.
