Description
- Leading the design team to develop and implement creative design solutions.
- Managing design projects from concept through to completion with internal design teams and customers.
- Meeting with customers to discuss design briefs and requirements.
- Reporting progress, issues, and successes to senior management regularly.
Profile
A successful Design Manager should have:
- Experience working within a medium-large scale fashion supplier.
- Proven experience in managing a design team.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality multi-product design work.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong understanding and experience of the womenswear fashion market.
- Great relationship building skills with both the internal team and customers.
- Ideally some license experience.
- Experience working with Bangladesh and India.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A creative mindset with a strong eye for detail.
