We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Control Assistant to join our team at F Jewellery.The ideal candidate will be responsible for logging and arranging stock transits between branches, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records in the stock management system.

Main Responsibilities:• Log stock transits in the stock management system.• Arrange stock transits between branches.• Liaise with branch managers to ensure stock transits are up-to-date in the system.• Check incoming stock for accuracy by weighing items and testing purity.• Report on stock locations, aged stock reports, and identify items for smelting.• Assist in describing new stock for branches and websites.• Liaise with the London Assay Office to arrange hallmarking.• Accept auction lots from Fast Credit, checking purities and ensuring weights match onarrival.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software for managing stock and generating reports.- Jewellery Testing Knowledge: Experience in weighing and testing the purity of jewellery items.• Stock Control Experience: Previous experience in stock control, preferably within the jewellery industry, will be an advantage.- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in English to effectively communicate with team members and external partners.- Hallmarking Knowledge: A general understanding of the hallmarking process.
