Key Responsibilities:As a Stores Operative, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials. Your tasks will include:

  • Accepting all incoming goods and materials with accuracy.
  • Checking deliveries to ensure they match the order specifications.
  • Providing clear signatures, names, and dates to delivery personnel.
  • Verifying that special storage conditions are met, and procedures are followed.
  • Reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods to the Stores Manager.

What We're Looking For:To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven customer service skills that shine in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with good IT skills for accurate data entry.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills to provide efficient service.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, tackling any challenges that arise.
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness to handle various tasks.

While an engineering or stores background would be beneficial, we value diverse experiences. If you have a strong customer service background and a general grasp of IT (MS Office), you could be the perfect fit!
