Investment Specialist - Responsibilities:

  • Listing of promising companies (target companies) interested in investing in Japan
  • Approaching target companies with various means such as participating in exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and approaching via cold mail, LinkedIn and other SNS, getting referrals from local support agencies, etc.)
  • Provide consultation on FDI in Japan to target companies (research, proposals, responding to enquiries, taking minutes, follow-up, case management, etc., in cooperation with the staff from Japan HQs
  • Provide supporting business matching for target companies
  • Following up with existing projects, managing information, and monitoring performance
  • Making Network with relevant organizations in each country to identify target clients
  • Planning and assistance for pitch events/reverse pitch events for the purpose of identifying target companies and matching collaborative partnerships
  • Liaison and coordination with Japan HQs
  • Ad hoc duties required for the team

Investment Specialist - Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken),
  • Thorough understanding of social, cultural, and business practices in the UK,
  • Good speaking and reading skills in Japanese
  • Industrial knowledge and practical experience in sustainability, digital, or Deeptech fields would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • 5 days office working
