Paraplanner - With potential to become Financial Advisor

Average Client £AUM between £750k-£1m!

My client are a well-established Financial Advice firm based in central London who operate under the St James Place banner. They have offices in central London and their private clients financial advice on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Mortgages and some Protections to wealthy clients across the Southeast of England.

This particular role will involve working very closely with the director of the business as he offers advice to his clients with whom he has built up a close working relationship with over the years. This client bank continues to expand and he increasingly finds himself in need of a supportive and dynamic financial planning paraplanner to continue to meet his high levels of customer service whilst offering sound and robust financial advice where required. You will be actively involved in clients personal financial affairs and be comfortable in a client facing role.

This position is suitable to Paraplanners who are interested in the service and technical side of the job, and will appeal to those that prefer the offering of complete, holistic wealth management advice and truly working with the client’s best interests in mind. You will be benefit not only from gaining experience by working alongside a very experienced finance professional, but you will also be able to call upon the triaing and development resources of the wider St James Place group. In addition to this you will be supported by a keen and ambitious team of administrators who will be keen to learn from you. The role will lend itself to a career minded Paraplanner who not only has the ability to nurture strong and ongoing relationships with their clients, but one that is also willing to share their knowledge and experience with the junior members of the team in the long run.

To be eligible for this role, you must hold the Diploma in Financial Planning or have a number of exams under your belt as you work towards this goal. You will also require previous experience of administration or paraplanning withing a St James Place business.
