Central LondonHybrid working Our client, a highly successful specialist lender is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee the management and recovery of their bridging loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting our clients throughout their borrowing journey.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the collections process for overdue loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop strategies to minimise defaults and maximize recoveries.
  • Liaise with clients to negotiate payment plans and settlements.
  • Monitor and report on loan performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting and risk management teams to assess loan recovery potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment statuses.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in collections, servicing or loan management within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of bridging finance products and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and assess risk.
  • Proficient in using loan management systems and MS Office Suite.
