My client is a specialist in providing investment investment administration platform services for UK institutional pension schemes and their advisors. Currently experiencing a period of sustained growth, they are looking to strengthen their existing team by recruiting a Senior Analyst within the Asset Transfers team.

This is a hybrid role, with two days per week spent in the office.

The Asset Transfers team is responsible for the maintenance of data across the company’s technology infrastructure and supports business growth by delivering successful fund on-boarding, managing Fund Change activity across the platform and provides data for reporting purposes.

About the role

The role of the Senior Analyst will be to perform and oversee the day-to-day activities, providing consistent, timely and accurate services including:

  • Scheme set-up and maintenance.
  • Security and fund set-up and maintenance; blended fund set-up and maintenance.
  • Sourcing ongoing charges data for all funds held on the platform.
  • Sourcing dealing spreads and calculation of trading costs
  • Performing operational due diligence on new, and existing, funds on the platform.
  • Investment manager/fund provider account set-up.
  • Maintenance of standing and static data for all investment systems.
  • Managing and delivering Fund change activity on the platform such as fee changes, mergers, closures and other corporate actions initiated by the Fund Managers.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader on occasion
  • Maintain process and control documentation and identify process improvements
  • Support the team leader with change activity impacting Fund Oversight & Governance processes; manage risk through identification, interpretation and mitigation.
Qualifications & experience
  • At least five years’ experience in an Investment Operations environment.
  • Holder of the CISI Investment Operations Certificate/IMC or equivalent
  • Possesses good technical knowledge of Unit Linked principles and practices.
  • Technical knowledge of fund structures and investment environment.
  • Experience of maintaining standing data in investment systems.
