Senior Asset Manager

Location: London (Hybrid - 4 days office-based, Fridays WFH)

We're seeking an established Senior Asset Manager to join an award-winning specialist lender in London, offering both bridging loans (up to £25m) and development finance (£500k+). As an Asset Manager, you shall take ownership of an impressive property portfolio. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in managing high-value development projects across London and beyond, reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management. You'll be the driving force behind successful project delivery, managing relationships with developers and ensuring optimal financial performance across your portfolio. You'll blend analytical precision with relationship management to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers across your managed loan portfolio
  • Evaluate construction progress reports and coordinate strategic fund drawdowns
  • Conduct site visits to monitor development progress and maintain quality standards
  • Orchestrate unit sales and security releases at loan completion
  • Coordinate with professional advisers including solicitors, monitoring surveyors, and valuers
  • Prepare comprehensive investor/funder reports and internal documentation
  • Maintain and update sophisticated financial models
  • Handle receivership and recoveries work when required
  • Perform detailed loan ratio analysis and sensitivity assessments
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Asset Management Team

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar asset management role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with CRM systems and financial modeling tools
  • Professional approach to relationship management
