Job Purpose:This tier 1 bank is looking for someone to join the UK Client Assets & Depositor Protection Team for 12 months, to ensure compliance with regulations. Engage with business partners, manage deliverables, and develop processes, documentation, and governance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee asset compliance across businesses.
  • Liaise with stakeholders as the central contact for governance.
  • Ensure technology/process solutions meet standards.
  • Support the enhancement of governance frameworks.
  • Prepare materials for governance meetings and challenge adherence to regulations.
  • Share technical knowledge and critique deliverables.
  • Advise on regulatory changes and business implementation.
  • Contribute to office projects and strategic objectives.Knowledge/Experience:
  • SME experience in client asset/depositor protection regulations.
  • Financial services/banking experience.
  • Experience in regulatory change and implementation.
  • Degree level education preferred.
  • Relevant professional qualification ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management and teamwork.
  • Highly organised, task-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
