I am partnered with a global law firm in their search for a Revenue Administrator to join their London office on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal finance professional with 1-2 years to join an established law firm.

Day duties of the role:

  • Circulating New Matter Reports and preparing for billing.
  • Obtaining Engagement Letters for Revenue Controllers' review.
  • Setting up matters for E-billing.
  • Preparing weekly time reports.
  • Preparing WIP (Work in Progress) reports.
  • Editing pre-bills and producing compliant bills.
  • Processing write-offs for unbillable time and disbursements.
  • Handling time and disbursement transfers.
  • Responding to queries and providing invoices and time analysis.
  • Assisting with Accounts Receivables by chasing payments.
  • Archiving and filing regularly.
  • Handling ad-hoc projects as needed.

The right candidate will have:

  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of confidentiality in a professional environment
  • Logical and organized mindset, good with numbers
  • Aptitude for IT, especially working knowledge of Excel and other accounting software
  • Ability to work to high standards with a strong client service orientation
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business
  • Ability to work well both in a team and individually, displaying a friendly and enthusiastic proactive approach
  • Confidently deal with demanding situations, people, and requirements
  • Flexible and efficient, with the ability to adapt style as required
  • Ability to prioritize, work to tight deadlines, and manage own workload
  • Self-motivated, capable of juggling multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
