As a Team Assistant in the Finance team, your role will be multifaceted, providing crucial support to both the Finance and Tax teams. You'll be involved in everything from diary management to preparing presentation documents, organising team social events, and even assisting with tax compliance and reporting. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to good use as you manage daily bank balance reports and support payment processes. Furthermore, you'll play a key role in fostering a culture of business partnering within the company.

What you will do?

  • Provide support to the Finance and Tax teams, including senior leaders
  • Manage diary schedules and prepare presentation documents as required
  • Assist in tax compliance and reporting, maintaining trackers and collating information for filings and returns
  • Support the financial controller in filing financial statements with Companies House
  • Prepare daily bank balance reports and provide support to manage payment processes

What you will bring:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment, preferably supporting a Finance team
  • High level of computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent diary management skills with ability to manage multiple calendars
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly such as internal systems for intranet, CRM, invoicing etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
  • Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
