This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contracts Manager to join a local authority for approx 6 months on an ongoing hybrid role offering up £406 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the current Fund Management Contract with a value of up to £1m.
- Establish and implement a robust system for performance monitoring.
- Review the existing contract and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Draft and contribute to the specification for the upcoming contract.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Oversee and resolve contract disputes effectively.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to KPIs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Expertise in risk management and financial analysis.
- Effective conflict and dispute resolution capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
- Experience managing large contracts with a value up to £1m.
- Examples of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven success in managing and resolving contract disputes - please provide details.
- Demonstrated ability to create a specification for a contract.
- Evidence of successful KPI management within contracts you've overseen.
- Knowledge of contract law and performance frameworks for suppliers.
Desirable Qualifications:
- CIPS qualification or significant experience managing high-profile or complex contracts.
