Working for this Global Asset Manager in their Multi Asset Team,which covers a variety of portfolios: Rules Based (implementing trades based upon a set pre-determined rules), Passive (seeking to match an index), trading based on investment advice or external instructions, managing the cash and FX hedging activities for private equity or debt funds. The administrative tasks and routines: managing funds and mandates requires various operations periodically, depending on the guidelines, settings and expectations. In order to meet operational requirements, the role will be engaged in conducting tasks with diligence and carefulness. Key Responsibilities Investment Operations - Prepare transactions and investment planning, which are ruled and governed by guidelines and contracts, when necessity arises. - Conduct transactions in various asset classes such as currency, fixed income, equity and derivatives. - Monitor cash flows, provide investment ideas and implement investment decisions. Communicate with necessary counterparties in both outside and inside to settle the transactions conducted by the Multi Asset team.

Reporting - Produce required reports in accordance with the guidelines and requirements.

Help the clients and counterparties to answer inquiry and solve issues. - Help in reporting to Tokyo Head Office.

Relationship management - Maintain a good relationship with brokers, able to discuss trading and get good quotes. - Maintain a good relationship with relevant entities such as custodian, trustee, administrators and investors to provide good financial services. - Provide applicable assist in improving the knowledge and skill levels of other team members.

Other - All duties to be performed in accordance with the rules and any departmental policies and procedures. - All staff are expected to abide by relevant laws and regulation applicable to their role and to undertake appropriate training and skill development in order to maintain competence.

Good level of market knowledge to be able to advice and report to others, and make recommendations with regard to investment or other activities. To keep knowledge up to date by observation of market movements and trends and other study and networking opportunities. Experience using Dimension, Bloomberg, Excel to a level which enables basic use of the capabilities of the systems.The ability to assess and perform expectations for both Multi Asset team and MUAMUK. Think and act proactively to solve issues and expand our capabilities. Uses logic and intuition to arrive at decisions or solutions to problems that achieve the desired outcome. Focus on productivity and achievement of goals to achieve profit in line with the Company’s investment strategy. Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates good listening skills and uses appropriate language and terminology. Speaks in a manner that will be understood, is courteous, and effective to ensure others are informed and current. Is considerate of the communication skills of others. The ability to plan and deliver oral and written communications that makes and impact and persuades their intended audiences.

You should be graduate with at least 2 years Investment or financial services experience and be fluent in Japanese
