Key Responsibilities:
As an AC/Refrigeration Engineer at [Company Name], you'll be an integral part of our service delivery team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Efficiently Managing Work Orders: Execute PPM and Reactive work orders in a timely manner, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with contract KPIs and SFG 20 requirements.
  • Fault Finding and Diagnostics: Utilize your expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, utilizing test equipment and providing comprehensive reports as needed.
  • Materials Management: Ensure the seamless ordering of materials required for repairs and servicing, reporting any shortages and suggesting improvements.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with the client's representatives, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Hazard Reporting: Proactively identify and report hazards, swiftly resolving them to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share valuable insights and recommendations with supervisors to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Ownership of Work Orders: Manage all assigned PPM and Reactive work orders from start to finish, maintaining detailed records and attaching necessary paperwork.
  • F Gas Compliance: Maintain site F Gas records and logbooks, ensuring proper documentation within the CAFM system.
  • AC/Refrigeration Maintenance: Perform repairs and servicing on A/C units and commercial refrigeration units as required.
  • Overtime Assistance: Be available for overtime as needed to complete small works and PPM tasks.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the service delivery team, including Contract Managers, Supervisors, and Compliance System & Reporting Managers.
Requirements:
  • 2 Years Demonstrable Experience: Proven track record as an AC/Refrigeration Engineer.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold appropriate Level 3 (6187) NVQ/City and Guilds/Cat 02 qualifications and F Gas Handling and Management (2079) certification.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • CAFM Experience: Familiarity with using a CAFM system on a PDA/mobile device.
  • Detail-Oriented: Results/task-oriented with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills.
