IT Audit and Controls Analyst - Insurance

Hybrid working in the City of London - 3 days pw

Great opportunity to support the IT Department of this London Market insurer their underwriting platforms and processes achieve the financial, regulatory and reputational standards required to allow the smooth running of the operations.

As an IT Audit and Controls Analyst, you will have experience of working in a rapidly changing IT environment and have a talent for scrutinising records, analysing evidence and collecting of key metrics.

Reporting into the IT Audit and Controls Manager you will:-

  • Provide timely reporting of IT Audit and Compliance testing and status of deficiencies both external and internally.
  • Co-ordinate with internal and external Auditors delivering evidence for achieving and maintaining compliance and status on gap remediation.
  • Utilise your analytical skills to provide suggestions on how to improve processes and support process improvement implementation.
  • Assist with the co-ordination with stakeholders to conduct Audits within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure thorough analysis of control measures and standards conformance.

Experience Required:-

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a high level of initiative.
  • Abe to work in a fast changing IT environment.
  • Data extraction skills, analysis and report production.
  • Able to utilise reporting tools ie PowerBI and Powerpoint.
  • Ideally an understanding of insurance platforms
  • Knowledge of Incident, Change, Request and Problem ITIL processes.
  • Experience of working with offshore providers.
