Our client, a leading law firm with a global presence, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Editor/Writer to join their dynamic team in London.With a commitment to delivering the highest quality legal services, our client has a network of offices globally, and are highly regarded for their precision and vision in crafting legal strategies for complex and high-stakes matters.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that editorial content for both internal and external audiences is of the highest quality. Working closely with the global Director of Brand and the wider Brand Team, you will ensure seamless alignment between the firm's editorial output and visual identity.Key Responsibilities

  • Write engaging marketing collateral, including social media posts, website content, annual reports, blog posts, reports, and speeches.
  • Write internal materials, such as newsletters and firm announcements.
  • Proofread materials to ensure accuracy, correctness, and adherence to the firm's style.
  • Collaborate with lawyers on editing client alerts, bylined articles, and other thought leadership.
  • Manage the delivery of projects, generating content, writing, editing, and liaising with the Creative Services team.
  • Generate and identify topics of interest for firm memos.
  • Maintain consistency and adherence to the firm's style across marketing collateral and platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to write in a range of styles for different platforms.
  • Strong editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with style guidelines, particularly the AP Stylebook.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
  • Experience in journalism or a professional writing environment within professional services.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
