An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a new, high-end casual dining restaurant, opening at the end of November. This venue will focus on Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and leading the kitchen team in their absence. This is a crucial role in the opening of the restaurant, requiring strong leadership and resilience.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience with fresh food, including a solid understanding of meat, fish, and pasta preparation.
- Creativity and a willingness to contribute to dish development.
- Experience in pastry would be a valuable asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly during a busy opening period.
