We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Porter to join our school’s catering team. The successful candidate will support the kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. An enhanced DBS would need to be completed for this role.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and store kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation as needed.
- Dispose of waste and manage recycling.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Flexibility to work during school hours.
