We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team in WC1H 0XG, working Monday to Friday.
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and utensils in accordance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
Key responsibilities include operating kitchen and cleaning equipment safely, cleaning crockery and utensils, and maintaining floors and service areas.
The position requires a high level of personal hygiene and the ability to provide courteous service to customers.
A salary is offered at £23,000 per year, with no specific year of experience required.

Purpose of the Post:

Kitchen Porter tomaintain the cleanliness of all equipment and utensils within the kitchen, and other associated areas, in line with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislative

Maintain a safe working environment

To operate kitchen and cleaning equipment in a safe and effective manner

Clear, clean and polish crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils

Clean and maintain floors and all equipment in kitchens, and service areas.

To clear and dispose of rubbish in a safe and efficient manner

To lay up and clear dining furniture and counters

Transport catering items on trolleys in a controlled manner

Provide a courteous and efficient service to all customers

Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and ensure clean uniforms
