You'll be working closely with a small, collaborative team of engineers and biologists to deliver real-world solutions.

The ML Engineer / Data Scientist role:Develop and integrate optimisation models, advancing our media optimisation capabilities.Collaborate with engineers and scientists to integrate new models into our laboratory automation systems.Build machine learning and analytics tools, such as computer vision models for cell morphology evaluation and bioinformatics tools.Work with cell biologists to improve optimisation efficiency and curate lab data.

ML Engineer / Data Scientist - Desirable skills:

  • 5+ years' experience within Machine Learning / Data Science
  • Expertise in probabilistic modelling, Bayesian optimisation, and related mathematical principles.
  • Experience with traditional ML methods and neural networks, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, feature engineering, and visualisation tools like Streamlit or Dash.
