Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy predictive models to support pricing, claims analysis, and underwriting.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to handle large-scale insurance datasets.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and machine learning experiments to identify patterns and trends.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually enhance the company's data capabilities.
- Education: Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Proficiency in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and NLP.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and deliver within deadlines.
- Experience in actuarial science or risk modeling.
- Knowledge of insurance industry-specific data, such as policy and claims data.
- Proficiency in big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop.
- Experience in agile development and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
