Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Use advanced data analytics to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Develop dynamic dashboards and visualisations using tools like Power BI or Tableau to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain high standards of data governance and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Transformation and Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for service delivery improvements through detailed process analysis.
  • Support and implement business transformation projects that align with council priorities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of initiatives and recommend optimisations where necessary.

Project and Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage specific transformation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, align goals, and provide training.
  • Build effective relationships to encourage collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, or similar are advantageous.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, change management, or business transformation roles.
  • Previous local government experience

Skills and Competencies:

  • Expertise in tools such as Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
