About the role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Operations Partner to join our Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you will support the HR Operations Manager by providing expert advice and overseeing the day-to-day management of HR operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include managing the employee life cycle, from compensation and benefits to operational reporting and equity processes. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing reward strategies and policies, as well as managing specific projects that enhance the employee experience.

The HR Operations Partner will be based in London or Leeds, this is a permanent role working full time Monday to Friday with a minimum of 2 days from the office.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead strategic reviews of existing reward practices (e.g. Flexible Benefits). Align the reward strategy with ENGIE’s employee value proposition (EVP) in order to support attraction, retention, and engagement of employees, and organisational objectives.
  • Lead a robust annual reward cycle in line with the One ENGIE Group policy and timetable established, including undertaking bespoke market, reviews where required, and accurate and timely employee communications.
  • Support with job evaluations and the delivery of a consistent and up to date job grading framework and pay benchmarking approach. Ensure ongoing grade consistency across similar jobs at different locations and address anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain HR Operations policies and procedures, ensuring they are upto date with UK regulations and the implementation and communication to the ENGIE UK business working with the HRBPs.
  • Develop team and own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Knowledge and skills

  • Data Collection and Analysis
  • Knowledge of employee reward programs, processes, issues and considerations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software as well HR software e.g SAP
  • Previous experience in Shared Service Function and a reward specialist / expert role
  • Experience of Job Evaluation grading, salary banding, HRIS Reporting and HR KPIs
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and practices and continuous improvement
