Resident Liaison Officer - Social Housing

The Role:

We are looking for a RLO to work with a one of the top 5 Property Services companies. You must be dynamic and have prior experience in Social Refurb. You will work on the L&Q contract onstreet properties in South London as part of a Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison between residents, contractors, and the project team.
  • Address and resolve resident queries, concerns, and complaints efficiently.
  • Ensure residents, including vulnerable individuals, receive the necessary support during the works.
  • Carry out pre-condition surveys and assist with resident engagement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, concerns, and resolutions.
  • Work closely with site and management teams to coordinate access and programme updates.
  • Ensure all resident engagement aligns with health and safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or similar role in the construction/property services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Driving licenses required!
  • Familiarity with property maintenance, construction processes, and relevant regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
