Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experiencedDriverwith a full, clean manual driving licence to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen fish to multiple locations acrossLondon and the South East of England.
The ideal candidate must beover 25 years old(due to insurance purposes) and have experience driving in various conditions. You will be expected to maintain the quality of the goods during transport, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all road safety and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport fresh and frozen fish to various locations across London and the South East of England.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with the delivery schedule.
- Load and unload goods as required, maintaining product quality and safety standards.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or delays promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety rules, and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
Requirements:
- Full, clean manual driving licence.
- Must be over 25 years old (due to insurance purposes).
- Ability to drive long distances and make multiple stops throughout the day.
- Previous driving experience is preferred (especially in delivery roles).
- Strong time management skills to meet tight delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to load and unload deliveries.
- A professional attitude and reliability.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Saturday.
- Start time:5:00 AM.
- Shift duration:7 hoursper day.
