The Position as an Assistant Town Planner:

My client is currently seeking an Assistant Planner to join our Central London office. This role is ideal for someone working towards their APC who is eager to gain hands-on experience and progress within the planning profession. You will support senior colleagues in delivering planning appraisals, preparing, and managing planning applications and appeals, and contributing to key project work.

What's Essential for an Assistant Town Planner:

  • Town Planning or related degree (ideally RTPI accredited)
  • A team player who is approachable, proactive, and adaptable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • A keen interest in planning policy and development
  • Previous experience in a planning role
