About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join my client's London-based team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of projects, working closely with experienced planning professionals and benefiting from structured training and development opportunities. The role will provide hands-on experience across various planning services, including strategic advice, planning appraisals, prior approval applications, and environmental impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing planning applications, appeals, and impact assessments.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support planning proposals and policy development.

  • Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to facilitate planning processes.

  • Support senior planners with project management and strategic advice.

  • Contribute to placemaking consultancy and land promotion initiatives.

  • Keep up to date with planning legislation, regulations, and market trends.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.

  • A keen interest in UK planning policies, legislation, and development.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • Ability to manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Previous work experience or internship in planning (desirable but not essential).
