Role: Intermediate Civil Engineer (Infrastructure Design)

We're looking for an Intermediate Civil Engineer in London!

As a relatively new business established in the previous decade, they have grown tremendously in both size and recognition in the industry to become a go-to consultant for both structural and civil pre-construction advice and design, enabling developers to convert challenging sites into built communities in the residential, later living, commercial, retail, and healthcare sectors.
As part of the new London proposition for site development, you will join a fledgling team that will grow around you under exceptional leadership from one of London's most esteemed directors in civil infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Your new role as an Intermediate Civil Engineer will allow you to demonstrate the knowledge you have gained through your previous experience and allow you to take more individual control of the engineering solution your team provides. This can range from producing geometric highway designs for new estate roads, junctions, and roundabouts to surface water and foul water drainage designs, and Flood Risk Assessments and earthwork strategies.
Requirements:
- As an Intermediate Civil Engineer it will be expected that you have a novice to mid-level understanding of the design of highways or drainage, and ideally both.
- It is highly desirable to have been exposed to 3D modelling software, in the form of Civil 3D, Site3D, 12D, or KTF, for the purposes of calculating earthwork volumes, modelling sites, and producing geometric designs, including alignments.
- It is very likely that the right candidate will have been exposed to hydraulic modelling using MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow, or at the very least will have had modelled outputs of the above delivered by a senior engineer.
