Your new role

As a Senior/Principal Town Planner, you will join our dynamic London and South East team. You will support the growth of our team across a variety of major infrastructure and development projects. Your responsibilities will include leading planning projects, engaging in bid preparation, acting as lead consultant for multi-disciplinary projects, and supporting junior colleagues and planning team leaders. Experience with Development Consent Orders (DCOs) is advantageous.What you'll need to succeed

• A relevant Planning degree; RTPI membership is desirable.
• Self-motivation, enthusiasm, determination, and resilience.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with the Environmental Impact Assessment process.
• Knowledge of Strategic Planning and Planning policy.
• Understanding of TCPA, DCO, TWAO, or equivalent applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in work winning and supporting market growth.
• Genuine passion to work for AtkinsRéalis.
• Experience with local authorities, PEC, and permitted development.
