Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a Town Planner to join a dynamic and highly regarded planning consultancy. About the Role:
As a Town Planner, you will take a leading role in delivering planning advice to a wide variety of clients, including developers, landowners, and public sector bodies. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects, preparing planning applications, and providing expert advice to support the successful delivery of development projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
  • Providing strategic planning advice to clients
  • Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
  • Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

About You:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in town planning, with experience working on both urban and rural projects. Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field
  • MRTPI (Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute) or working towards
  • Extensive experience in town planning, ideally with a focus on development management and strategic planning
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
