Job Opportunity: Town Planner - Ruislip

Are you an experienced Town Planner with a passion for shaping the future of residential development? We have an exciting opportunity for a Town Planner to join a leading residential developer based in Ruislip. You'll play a key role in shaping sustainable communities and driving forward innovative planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and design of residential developments, from initial concept through to implementation.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure planning applications meet all relevant guidelines and regulations.
Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications and appeals.
Provide expert advice on planning matters and contribute to development strategies.
Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national planning policies.
Work on the preparation of technical reports and project documentation for development schemes.
Attend and present at planning committees, meetings, and public consultations.

Essential Requirements:

A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (MRTPI qualification preferred).
Proven experience in town planning, ideally within the residential sector.
Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working with local authorities and stakeholders.
Knowledge of GIS and planning software.
A proactive and driven attitude to meet deadlines and targets.

Location:
