Are you a talented and ambitious Town Planner seeking a new opportunity with an exciting and dynamic team? We're working with a leading planning consultancy based in central London, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Town Planner to join their growing team.

About the RoleAs a Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning services for a diverse range of clients, including private developers, local authorities, and property investors. You will be involved in managing projects from inception through to completion, providing expert advice, preparing planning applications, and engaging with local authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  • Advising clients on planning policy and strategic planning issues.
  • Preparing and presenting reports and planning documents.
  • Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and communities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Assisting with the management of development schemes, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
  • Providing strategic planning advice to clients, ensuring compliance with local and national planning regulations.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll need to be a passionate and driven professional with:

  • A degree in Town Planning or related discipline (MRTPI or working towards).
  • Previous experience in planning (either public or private sector).
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with planning software and Microsoft Office.
