We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Town Planner to join a well-established and dynamic consultancy in central London. This is an ideal role for a professional looking to take their career to the next level within a vibrant and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide planning consultancy services to a range of clients, including developers, local authorities, and private individuals.
  • Lead planning applications, appeals, and development schemes from inception through to completion.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to achieve positive outcomes for planning applications.
  • Conduct detailed planning analysis, policy reviews, and site assessments.
  • Prepare planning reports and documents in line with statutory regulations and local planning policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines, including design, transportation, and environmental consultants.
  • Support junior team members and provide mentoring where needed.
Ideal Candidate:
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related field.
  • A full member of the RTPI (or working towards).
  • Proven experience within planning consultancy, development management, or similar areas.
  • Strong understanding of planning policy and legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with clients and local authorities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
