Job Title: Town Planner (London)

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Town Planner to join a well-established and dynamic consultancy in central London. This is an ideal role for a professional looking to take their career to the next level within a vibrant and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide planning consultancy services to a range of clients, including developers, local authorities, and private individuals.
- Lead planning applications, appeals, and development schemes from inception through to completion.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to achieve positive outcomes for planning applications.
- Conduct detailed planning analysis, policy reviews, and site assessments.
- Prepare planning reports and documents in line with statutory regulations and local planning policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines, including design, transportation, and environmental consultants.
- Support junior team members and provide mentoring where needed.
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related field.
- A full member of the RTPI (or working towards).
- Proven experience within planning consultancy, development management, or similar areas.
- Strong understanding of planning policy and legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with clients and local authorities.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
