Job Title: Town Planner / Senior Town PlannerLocation: Remote (with meetings in London)

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an award winning planning consultancy who is currently seeking a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join the team on a full-time basis.

About the Role:

This is a predominantly remote role, allowing you to work from home with full autonomy. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to manage their workload independently, and can deliver high-quality planning services without daily supervision. While working remotely, you will be supported by our experienced team, and there will be regular team meetings in London, as well as potential client meetings in the London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a variety of planning applications and appeals.
  • Provide expert planning advice to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and prepare planning reports.
  • Attend regular team meetings in London and liaise with clients as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing insights and support when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Town Planning related degree
  • RTPI Accreditation is required.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your workload effectively while ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
