Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join the London team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant consultancy that prides itself on delivering high-quality, sustainable planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of planning applications and appeals.
  • Provide expert planning advice to clients, including developers, local authorities, and landowners.
  • Engage with stakeholders, attend meetings, and liaise with local authorities.
  • Conduct research, feasibility assessments, and provide planning appraisals.
  • Prepare planning reports, policy documents, and statements.
  • Lead and contribute to public consultations and community engagement processes.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall growth of the team.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards chartered status.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and the London planning framework.
  • Proven experience in managing complex planning applications and appeals.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to planning challenges.
