Job Title: Town PlannerLocation: Central London

Main Purpose of Role:

This role is part of a multidisciplinary team offering expert advice in Town Planning, Development Consultancy, Regeneration & CPO, Lease Advisory, and Transactions. The Planner will work closely with the team to deliver high-profile projects, supporting clients with specialist planning services.

We are seeking an individual with 2+ years of experience in planning who is approachable, adaptable, and works well in a collaborative environment. The role is based in Central London with flexible hybrid working options, involving nationwide projects.

Key Tasks:

  • Conducting Planning History Searches.
  • Preparing planning appraisals for various projects.
  • Attending site visits to assess planning requirements.
  • Participating in project and client meetings.
  • Attending planning committees as needed.
  • Drafting and preparing planning submission documents, including:
    • Pre-application letters/statements
    • Planning statements
    • Appeal statements
  • Managing post-decision applications, including discharging and varying planning conditions.

Key Results/Objectives:

  • Provide specialist town planning advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality solutions.
  • Deliver core planning documents for review by project directors.
  • Successfully negotiate planning applications to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Assist project directors in advising clients on planning strategies and improving project feasibility.
  • Contribute to business development by helping generate new opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure high-quality planning advice and excellent client satisfaction.
