A leading landscape architecture and garden design studio has a Senior Landscape Architect job now available in its new London office This role offers the opportunity to lead exceptional projects, from luxury private estates to prestigious public realm initiatives and world-class resorts. With a strong focus on high-quality, creative, and sustainable design, this position is ideal for an experienced Landscape Architect looking to take the next step in their career.

A creative, forward-thinking practice with an award-winning portfolio, the company has built a reputation for delivering innovative, design-led landscapes that balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. With nearly 1,000 unique projects completed across the UK and internationally, they specialise in luxury residential, premium commercial, and high-profile public realm schemes.

The team thrives on collaboration, working with artists, craftspeople, and consultants to create thoughtful, distinctive, and environmentally conscious designs. Due to an increased workload, they are now opening a new London office and seeking a Senior Landscape architect to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-end landscape projects from concept to completion
  • Deliver innovative, high-quality, and sustainable design solutions
  • Manage project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare reports, presentations, technical drawings, and specifications for planning applications and construction contracts
  • Oversee project delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with CDM and Health & Safety legislation
  • Work collaboratively with the team members in other offices
  • Attend client and site meetings, representing the company professionally
  • Support new business opportunities, assisting with bids and tenders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' UK project experience in landscape architecture
  • Strong portfolio of high-quality, design-led projects, preferably including luxury residential or resort schemes
  • Excellent design skills with a strong conceptual approach
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office (SketchUp, NBS, Enscape, and Revit desirable)
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK planning policies, materials, and construction techniques.
