About the role

The Head Gardener is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of gardens and landscaped areas. This role involves maintaining the gardens to ensure they are aesthetically pleasing, healthy, and thriving. The Head Gardener oversees a team of gardeners, ensures proper horticultural practices are followed, and manages resources efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading or mentoring a team within a ground maintenance or landscaping environment.
  • Financial awareness towards staffing levels and overtime, tools and equipment, company property and waste.
  • Overall understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • A reliable individual with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Full UK Driving License.
