Tiger Private is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Gardener to manage the gardens at a prestigious estate in Windsor, as well as an additional property in Central London. This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled horticulturalist to contribute to the care and development of beautifully maintained, sustainable gardens while advancing their career.The ideal candidate will be a passionate and motivated team player with a strong background in horticulture and private estate management. Responsibilities include overseeing routine maintenance of the estate grounds, including lawns, wild meadows, trees, and a wild pond. The role also involves greenhouse management, planning and administration and general garden upkeep. You will play a pivotal role in new planting projects, collaborating with garden designers, specialist contractors and the wider estate team. Additionally, you will line-manage a part-time groundsman and seasonal labour as required.This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of organic gardening practices, sustainability, and a comprehensive knowledge of plant species and their care. Expertise in both formal and informal garden maintenance is essential. The estate emphasizes environmentally friendly management, making knowledge in this area a critical component of the role. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with some weekend and bank holiday work during peak periods.Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience, an RHS Level 2 or higher qualification, and demonstrable practical skills.
