- Advising clients on a variety of commercial agreements, including sponsorship, licensing, image rights, distribution, and outsourcing contracts.
- Acting for sports organisations, governing bodies, clubs, athletes, and investors on a range of commercial and regulatory issues.
- Handling advisory projects related to supply chain risk, modern slavery, conflict minerals, anti-bribery, GDPR, and broader commercial compliance.
- Leading strategic contractual negotiations and fostering long-term relationships between clients and their service providers.
- Managing international commercial projects across multiple sectors, with a strong emphasis on sports, media, entertainment, and technology.
- Contributing to the growth of the firm’s sports and commercial practice while maintaining strong client relationships.
- 2-6 years’ PQE in commercial law, ideally with experience in the sports, media, or entertainment sectors.
- Proven experience advising on complex commercial agreements, including sponsorship, licensing, and image rights deals.
- Strong understanding of commercial regulations, including GDPR, supply chain risk, and compliance frameworks within the sports industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels and work effectively in a team.
