An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1-3PQE Commercial Real Estate Associate to join the London office of a Silver Circle firm.

The Firm

The opportunity sits within a leading independent law firm based in London, renowned for providing high-quality legal services across a range of practice areas. The firm's client base spans a diverse range of sectors, including private equity, real estate, financial services, and corporate. Its clients range from multinational corporations and financial institutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and entrepreneurs.

The Role

You will work on a broad range of complex and high-value commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, development projects, and real estate finance. The team acts for a diverse range of clients, including institutional investors, developers, funds, and corporate occupiers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on a variety of commercial property transactions from inception to completion.
  • Supporting clients on strategic and high-profile real estate matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, agreements for lease, and sale and purchase contracts.
  • Assisting on development projects, joint ventures, and structured real estate investments.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in related practice areas, such as construction, tax, and finance, to provide integrated advice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • UK-qualified solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial real estate law, gained at a reputable City, West End, or National law firm.
  • Strong academic background, having graduated from a Russell Group university.
  • Strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
