Commercial Solicitor – Legal 500 firmÂ
My client is a leading commercial law firm with a fantastic reputation in the market for its economic impact. This is a London-based law firm with an international presence, fostering an open, inclusive and collaborative approach.Â
The role:
This is a new opportunity to join the firm’s expanding corporate & commercial team, with a focus on commercial matters. You will work within a number of sectors, including hospitality, financial services and media.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with a wide variety of commercial transactions and associated issues
- Drafting, amending and negotiating documents to include manufacturing agreements, distribution agreements, services agreements, terms & conditions, privacy policies and related matters
- Advising clients and stakeholders on commercial law matters, including intellectual property, data protection and compliance
- Monitoring compliance and ensuring policies remain compliant with laws & standards
Person specification:
- You will have between 2 – 8 years post-qualification experience in commercial lawÂ
- You will possess strong IT skills including Outlook, Word & Excel, as well as the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- You will have a strong academic background and have trained in a firm of a similar sizeÂ
