We are seeking a Conflicts Lawyer to join our conflicts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing conflicts of interest and ethical walls within the firm.

Description

  • Identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest.
  • Implementing and maintaining ethical walls within the firm.
  • Providing guidance on the firm's conflict procedures and policies.
  • Working closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advising on conflict issues in relation to new business.
  • Assisting with the development of training materials on conflicts management.
  • Supporting the wider Business Services team as required.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of conflict management processes.

Profile

A successful Conflicts Lawyer should have:

  • A law degree from a recognised university.
  • A valid practising certificate.
  • Experience working as a conflicts lawyer in a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of conflict management, SRA regulations and ethical walls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach to work and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
