A leading international firm is seeking a Construction Associate to join its highly regarded team in London. The team works with a wide variety of clients, from leading professional indemnity insurers to some of the UK’s largest contractors and consultancies. They handle diverse claims, ranging from defending construction-related professionals such as engineers, architects, and surveyors, to advising on risk management, adjudication, arbitration, and policy coverage.As a Construction Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of professional indemnity claims, both pre- and post-litigation, and work closely with experienced partners and associates. The role provides autonomy and the chance to get involved in high-value and complex matters, while also contributing to business development and client initiatives.
  • Managing a caseload of construction professional indemnity claims, including coverage issues.
  • Delivering high-quality, timely advice to clients in line with agreed service levels.
  • Supporting the team's continuous improvement in processes and client service.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development activities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the development of junior team members.
Ideal Candidate
  • NQ - 5 years PQE with strong experience in construction litigation.
  • Insurance experiences is highly desired, but not a prerequisite. 
  • Commercially minded with the ability to deliver practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic about business development and growing the practice.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
