Senior Construction Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is excited to work alongside an organisation responsible for delivering one of the country's largest infrastructure projects, in finding a Senior Construction Lawyer to join their in-house legal function.

The successful Construction Solicitor would be working closely with the General Counsel on a major project, involving a range of interesting legal work. They will also gain invaluable experience regarding the inner workings of an in-house legal function.

This role will give a Senior Construction Solicitor the ability to develop their legal services management experience, making it an amazing opportunity for someone looking to head up their own legal functions in the future.

This role is based in London and the ideal candidate would be able to attend the office in central London on a hybrid basis.

As a Senior Construction Solicitor, your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contractual documentation relating to Construction Law including - collateral warranties, framework agreements, joint venture agreements NEC and FIDIC
  • Working with high-profile internal and external stakeholders and building relationships
  • Working closely with the procurement team on commercial projects
  • Assist with small-value litigation claims

This role would ideally suit a candidate who has strong experience gained working within the construction/engineering either in-house or within Private Practice. Our client is looking for someone who has a keen interest and is committed to working in-house.
