A leading US law firm is seeking a UK-qualified corporate lawyer (0-2 PQE) to join its dynamic corporate team in London. This team focuses on advising tech companies throughout their growth journey, from launching and scaling to fundraising, M&A, IPOs, and US expansion. The London office offers Silicon Valley-style business and legal advice to UK and European tech companies, with a particular focus on venture capital and M&A transactions.The role will primarily involve M&A and venture capital transactions for tech companies. The successful candidate will contribute to building the firm’s corporate practice, mentoring junior team members, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with M&A and venture capital transactions for tech companies
  • Mentor and support paralegals and junior team members
  • Engage in client management and work closely with senior lawyers
  • Help UK and European tech companies with expansion, fundraising, and exits
Person Specification:
  • UK qualified, holding or eligible for a valid Solicitors’ Practicing Certificate
  • 0-2 years PQE with experience in M&A or strategic transactions
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic, creative, and commercially minded with problem-solving ability
  • Knowledge of market practice in the tech and VC sectors is a plus, but not required
