The Corporate Tax Team:

The corporate tax team provides strategic guidance across a wide range of tax matters, including corporate structuring, M&A, real estate transactions, and cross-border investments. The department advises a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, private equity firms, real estate investors, and high-net-worth individuals on areas such as tax-efficient corporate structuring, financing, VAT, SDLT, capital allowances, and transfer pricing.

The Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to corporate clients, particularly in M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and financing transactions.
  • Advise on real estate tax matters, including stamp duty land tax (SDLT) and capital allowances.
  • Support clients with tax-related issues in cross-border transactions and transfer pricing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other practice areas to provide integrated tax solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified solicitor in the UK with 2+ years PQE in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong technical expertise in UK corporate tax law.
  • Experience advising on M&A and real estate tax matters.
