Sirona Medical are recruiting for a temporary Employment Lawyer for the London Borough of Lambeth.This is a full time agency post, 35 hours per week.We are looking for candidates that have the below skills and experience;
  1. Thorough up to date knowledge of all aspects of Employment and Education law.
  2. Substantial demonstrable post qualification experience working as a solicitor/barrister or FILEX in the field of employment and education law, including relevant advocacy experience, preferably in local government. Significant specialism in depth knowledge in employment and education law. Conduct of complex cases with minimal supervision. Liaison with client departments and senior officers.
  3. Experience of supervising and managing junior staff.
  4. Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX
You will be responsible to the Senior Lawyer working in the legal and governance department.Principal Accountabilities
  1. To demonstrate substantial experience of legal work within the post holder’s area of responsibility and ability to demonstrate significant specialism or depth of knowledge in a particular
  2. To make a professional evaluation of all legal aspects with minimal supervision and guidance.
  3. To present complex arguments before courts, tribunals, committees or sub-committees effectively.
  4. To liaise effectively with clients and instil confidence and trust in respect of service provision.
  5. When required, to supervise Trainees and other staff who may be assigned to the team from time to
  6. To represent Legal Services on Corporate projects and initiatives involving both legal and policy work at a senior level as required from time to time.
