Employment LawSenior Associate 6+PQELondonAn exciting opportunity has arisen in the top-tier Employment team of a Silver Circle law firm for a senior associate to join their offices in London. This Silver Circle Law firm boasts offices in over 30 locations across North America, Europe, the Middles East and Asia employing over 1,200 lawyers. With global capabilities, the firm offers clients one of the most active M&A, real estate, financial services, litigation and corporate risk practices in the world. The firm's client base includes publicly held multinational corporations, large and mid-sized privately held companies, emerging companies, not-for-profit organisations, government entities and individuals. The role would suit individuals who are looking to take a step up in their career and become a trusted pillar between the firm's clients and the team. You will be the first point of call for clients, taking instructions accurately and responding to concerns and queries. Having experience running high value litigation cases, providing clients with sound practical and commercial legal advice, conducting investigations or advising on approach to investigations and working with financial services clients, including a good grounding of the regulatory regime applicable to financial services clients, is highly desired for this role.In your core work, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of employment law matters across litigation (the team's focus is on high value claims such as whistleblowing detriment/dismissal claims and discrimination claims), general advisory on all aspects of employment law, document production and corporate and real estate transactions, with a strong current emphasis on litigation. The team advise on issues including whistleblowing, discrimination, restrictive covenants, disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, senior executive exits, redundancies and remuneration across a range of sectors but particularly within the financial sector. The team also deal with all employment aspects arising out of mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations and team moves.To be successful in your application, you will have a minimum of 6PQE and a strong track record of working on UK employment law matters, gained from another highly regarded City or international law firm in London.
